Discover the Kortright Centre's beautiful trails all season long, great for hiking and much more.

Situated 10 minutes north of Toronto, on 325 hectares of pristine woodlands, Kortright Centre combines a natural oasis with some of the most leading edge sustainable education programs and events in Canada. The centre hosts 100,000 visitors annually and offers over 50 environmental education programs for schools and 30 sustainable technology workshops for the public, trades and professionals.

Kortright is open to the public daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Extended operating hours apply to many workshops and evening programs. Operating hours related to these activities are posted on our website or in other promotionalmaterials. The Visitor Centre at Kortright is also available for private, after hours use. Please enquire about facility rentals.

Enjoy more than 16 kilometres of breathtaking hiking trails year-round at the Kortright Centre. Pet Policy

Pets are permitted at most Toronto and Region Conservation areas; however, for the safety and enjoyment of everyone, we do insist that:

  •  pets are kept on a leash at all times
  •  owners clean up after their pets
  •  pets are not allowed in the visitors centre
