How long is my visit on my scheduled day?

Each experience is two hours in length. When purchasing your tickets, you will select your time slot. Please make sure to arrive on time for your scheduled time slot as missed activities cannot be made up later.

How does my scheduled time slot work?

Each time slot will include several guided groups/tours. Once assigned to your guide, you will spend the duration of the event with that guide. Groups will be no larger than 25 people and will be asked to maintain their social bubbles.

Are there any indoor activities?

No. This year’s experience will be completely outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather. Limited indoor access is available for use of the washrooms. Face coverings are mandatory inside enclosed public spaces (unless a mask cannot be worn due to medical reasons).

Do you provide a photo with Santa?

No. Please be sure to bring your own camera to capture the experience.

What if I am sick and cannot attend on my scheduled date and time?

We will do our best to accommodate a reschedule, but based on previous years’ experience, this event sells out, so it may not be possible. Please review our cancellation policy:

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation requests received by TRCA more than 3 days before the start of the program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fee paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 3 days before the start of the program do not qualify for a refund. Please contact us in cases of sickness prior to the program start time so we can be in touch about rescheduling. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by emailing vservices@trca.ca.

If it is raining or snowing does my experience still happen?

Yes. Experiences are “rain, snow, or shine”. If extreme weather forces a closure of the event, and no portion of the event can be offered, you will be emailed and refunds will be issued.

Do I need to make reservations in advance?

Yes. Magical Christmas Forest is a pre-ticketed event.

How can I pass others safely on a narrow trail?

Whenever possible, you are encouraged to use a wider section of the trail for passing, and to speak up, kindly, to alert others when passing them on the trail. If needed, you can step off the trail, briefly, to allow another person to pass.

In general, please just be courteous, kind and patient.

Are the trails stroller-friendly?

Yes. For younger visitors we would recommend bringing a stroller with large wheels or a wagon — and maybe a few blankets!

Do I need to book a Santa time?

No. At this time, to fit current public health guidelines, all experiences will be a guided tour that includes a visit with Santa.

Will we be able to go into Santa’s cabin?

No. All visits with Santa will happen outside his cabin.
