Art in Nature

Art in Nature

Explore another side of nature through art sessions set in the out-of-doors.

This course is designed for anyone who is passionate about nature. We will be using materials from our walks outside to explore how to make art from our surroundings.

We will get to know each other as a group as we create rich textures, installations inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy and artworks that hearken back to the place the materials were found.

Get ready to explore different media such as ceramic clay, the magic of string and plant painting, fantastic printmaking using tree slices, leaves, twigs and developing artistic pages. Experiment with mixed media combining nature and art.

No previous training in art is required.

Sessions take place on Thursdays at 10 am, and are two hours long.
