We encourage visitors to purchase tickets in advance.
Conservation Parks members enjoy free admission to Kortright.
PLEASE NOTE: Unauthorized use of Drones/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Drone) Photography on Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) property is strictly prohibited.

The Kortright Centre is one of the best spots for hiking and bird watching in the Greater Toronto Area.

Bring your Pets
We’re dog lovers too! Pets are welcome at Kortright Centre — however, for the safety and enjoyment of everyone, we do insist that:
- Pets are kept on a leash at all times.
- Owners clean up after their pets.
- Pets are not allowed in the Visitor Centre.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR MAKE A CHANGE TO MY RESERVATION?
Please contact Visitor Services at vservices@trca.ca.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?
Cancellation requests received by TRCA more than three days before the start of the program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than three days before the start of the program do not qualify for a refund. Please contact us in cases of sickness prior to the program so we can be in touch about rescheduling or refunding. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER LOOKS BAD FOR MY RESERVATION DAY AND TIME?
Reserved visits are “rain or shine,” as many of our visitors enjoy Kortright Centre regardless of the weather. If a weather event requires us to close Kortright, reserved visits will be cancelled, you will be emailed, and refunds will be issued.
ARE ANY OF YOUR INDOOR FACILITIES OPEN?
The indoor washrooms at our Visitor Centre are open. Water fountains are available and food items are available for sale at the gift shop. Our gift shop remains open.
ARE WASHROOMS AVAILABLE ON SITE?
Indoor washrooms are open.
WILL YOU HAVE HANDWASHING AND HAND SANITIZER AVAILABLE ON SITE?
Handwashing and hand sanitizer are available in our indoor washrooms.
IS THERE SOMEWHERE I CAN FILL MY WATER BOTTLE?
Yes. There is a water-bottle refill station in the Visitors’ Centre located in front of the information desk.
WHAT TRAILS ARE AVAILABLE AND WHAT ARE THEY LIKE?
All of our trails are currently open. VIEW AND DOWNLOAD THE KORTRIGHT TRAIL MAP.
We recommend reviewing the trails for length and difficulty prior to your visit.
HOW CAN I PASS OTHERS SAFELY ON NARROW TRAILS?
Whenever possible, you are encouraged to use wider sections of the trail (such as rest areas and intersections) for passing, and to speak up, kindly, to alert others when passing them on the trail.
If needed, you can step off the trail, briefly, to allow another person to pass you.
In general, please just be courteous, kind and patient.
WHAT ABOUT TRAIL RUNNING?
Trail running is currently permitted. We ask that you be mindful of how you use the trail, and make sure to share the trail with others
If possible, please consider days and time that will be less busy, and speak up, kindly, to alert others when passing them on the trail.
WHAT ABOUT BIKING?
Bicycles are not currently permitted at Kortright. We are looking into safe ways of adapting trails for cycling, but this will take time.
Cycling is available at TRCA’s Albion Hills Conservation Park.
WHAT ABOUT PICNICKING?
Picnicking at Kortright is permitted. Please remember to dispose of garbage in containers provided throughout.
DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR- OR WALKER-FRIENDLY TRAILS?
We have a few wheelchair-accessible sections of trail that are currently open.
Visitors can assess the accessibility of a trail for their own needs using this map , or the trail head signs at Kortright.
DOES MY SUPPORT WORKER NEED TO PAY IN ORDER TO VISIT KORTRIGHT WITH ME?
No. If you have a support worker who will be visiting Kortright with you, just make the reservation for yourself and then identify your support worker when you arrive at the gatehouse.
