Do I need to book in advance/make a reservation for Magical Christmas Forest?
Yes, tickets must be purchased using the link above.
What does my ticket include?
Tickets include Christmas themed crafts, games and activities, horse drawn wagon rides, a visit with Santa in his cabin, campfires, putt-putt in Santa’s workshop, holiday lights, hot chocolate, marshmallow roasting, and cookie decorating.
Do you provide a photo with Santa?
We don’t. Please be sure to bring your own camera to capture the experience!
How do the hours work? Do I need to arrive at a certain time?
You are welcome to arrive any time within the event hours! We suggest you plan on spending at least 1.5 hours, but you are welcome stay as long as you like. We kindly ask that you do not arrive more than 10 minutes ahead of the event time to allow our Elves time to prepare!
Are washrooms available on site?
Washrooms can be found in the Kortright Visitor Centre.
Will the gift shop be open?
Yes! The gift shop will be open for additional purchase for the duration of the event.
Is this event indoors, or outdoors, or both?
The event will take place both indoors and outdoors. Please come dressed appropriately for the outdoor conditions.
Can I bring my own food to Magical Christmas Forest?
Outside food is not permitted. Food will be available for purchase during the event. View the food and beverage menu.
Is Kortright a nut-free facility?
Kortright is a public facility so we are not considered nut-free.
Can I bring my dog to Magical Christmas Forest?
We ask that you please leave your pets at home for the event. Pets are not permitted in the Kortright Visitor Centre.
Is Kortright Centre for Conservation accessible for all mobilities?
The Kortright Visitor Centre is fully accessible. The outdoor portion of the event happens mainly on level trails.
Does my support worker have to pay entrance fees for Magical Christmas Forest?
Support workers may attend at no charge when accompanying a paying client.
What is your service animal policy?
Registered service animals are welcome.
What is the cancellation policy for Magical Christmas Forest?
All ticket sales are final. Unless TRCA cancels an event due to inclement/adverse weather, refunds or rain checks associated with weather conditions will not be issued. Please come prepared for the weather conditions.
What happens in the event of inclement weather on the date I have a ticket for?
Unless TRCA cancels an event due to inclement/adverse weather, refunds or rain checks associated with weather conditions will not be issued. Event cancellations may occur due to extreme conditions such as severe snow or ice storms, extremely heavy rainfall, high winds and/or in the event of lightning or lack of power. Since most of our events are held outdoors with limited to no indoor space, please come prepared for current weather conditions. TRCA makes every effort to proceed with an event as planned and will reopen its venues as quickly as possible once inclement/adverse weather conditions cease and the safety of our clients is not threatened. If an event is canceled by TRCA, participants will be notified, and all applicable fees will be refunded. Payments made by credit card will be credited back to the original card used for payment within 2-3 business days. Payments made by cheque or cash will be refunded by cheque in the mail, within 4 weeks.
