Learn the life cycle of the honey bee and the physical adaptations needed to survive inside a hive. Visit the Bee Space to safely view bees at work and taste their sweet honey.

Students will examine the life cycles and the functions of the workers, drones and queen bee and learn about their specialized anatomy. They will also learn about their unique behaviour traits. Along the walk to the Bee Space, students will see honey bees and other native bees at work in the fields collecting pollen and nectar.
