NATURE WALK

NATURE WALK
January 29, 2018 David Todd

Introduce your students to nature on a general interest hike, or specify a theme and we will customize this program to suit your needs.

teacher and students explore trail at Kortright Centre

A walk in nature provides so many mental and physical benefits. It can be an introduction to the natural world for those who are new to this environment, or a more detailed journey for those who feel comfortable in the surroundings.

The flora and fauna of Southern Ontario will be emphasized on the walk. Mounted specimens, study skins, and skeletal pieces such as deer antlers will be used as teaching aids. Students will learn through games and hands-on activities.

Teachers can request a specific topic to be discussed during this program, or we will follow the natural curiosity of your students to lead our activity choices.
