This program immerses students into the lives of animals living in the forest. Students become carnivores, omnivores, and/or herbivores in an exciting and active simulation game.

Through a fun and hands-on experience, students will explore predator-prey relationships, food chains and energy pyramids.

Following an introduction to the curriculum, scientific concepts and rules for safe game play, students proceed to a well-marked forested area to play the Instincts for Survival game.

A conclusion reviews concepts presented in this memorable game.
